Pam Molander, 66, of Burlington, died at 7:50 AM Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born September 7, 1943, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Mark Richard and Bernice Dorothy Fahlgren Welch. On November 28, 1964, she married Gary "Pete" Molander in Burlington.

Pam had worked for the Winegard Company for 30 years retiring on October 14, 2005.
She was a 1961 graduate of Burlington High School.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Burlington Area Crimestoppers, Burlington Eagles Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Pete; two sons, Bret Molander of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Chad Molander of West Des Moines, IA; two grandchildren, Maggie Molander and Max Molander; two sisters, Lynda (George) Coffin of Burlington, and Diane (Steve) Witherbee of Buffalo, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Visitation will be from noon until 8:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Mrs. Molander will be 10:30 AM Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. As per Pam's request cremation has been accorded following the funeral service. Inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Great River Hospice and Burlington Area Crimestoppers.
